Privacy policy
This page is a translation provided for convenience. The French version is the only legally binding one and prevails in the event of any discrepancy.
This policy explains how personal data collected through the public website and, for client schools, through the EducLink application is processed.

Data collected
The demo and space request forms collect the information you provide (identity, school, professional contact details, message). No sensitive data is requested.
Purpose
This data is used solely to respond to your commercial enquiry and to arrange a demo or the opening of a space.
Legal basis
Requests are processed on the basis of your consent and of pre-contractual steps taken at your request. Use of the application by a client school is based on the performance of the contract concluded with that school.
School data: who is responsible?
For data processed within the application (pupils, families, staff), the client school is the data controller. EducLink acts as a data processor and only acts on the school’s instructions, without reusing this data for any other purpose.
Hosting and location
Data is hosted on a server located in Frankfurt, Germany (European Union). Service emails (login details, password resets, notifications) are sent by a provider whose sending infrastructure is located in Ireland.
Automatic message translation
If the school enables this option, a user can ask for a message, announcement or homework to be translated (French, Arabic, English). Only the text concerned is then sent to the AI provider Anthropic to produce the translation; under this provider’s terms, content sent through its API is not used to train its models. The translation is stored in the application so that the text is not sent again.
Retention period
Commercial enquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, then deleted or archived in line with applicable obligations. A client school’s data is kept for the duration of the contract, then returned or deleted according to its instructions.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing of your data, and to object to it. Send your request to contact@educlink-dz.com. If your request concerns school data, please contact your school first. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
Security
The website uses HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using a recognised method, access is partitioned by school and by role, and secrets are never stored in the code repository. The database is backed up daily and restoration is tested.
